US Encourages Saudi Arabia To Recognize Israel
US is making efforts to get Israel recognized by Gulf States
Mike Pompeo, US Secretary of State has advised Saudi Arabia to recognize Israel as a state so that the situation between both states could be normalized.
Bahrain that designs its policy very close to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates had recently signed Abraham Accords with Israel at the White House.
This agreement according to Pompeo "contributed greatly to our shared goals for regional peace and security." "They reflect a changing dynamic in the region, one in which countries rightly recognize the need for regional cooperation to counter Iranian influence and generate prosperity," Pompeo said

"We hope Saudi Arabia will consider normalizing its relationships as well. We want to thank them for the assistance they’ve had in the success of the Abraham Accords so far."
President of the US, Donald Trump also sees the harmony of the two states as an achievement.
