The Warner Bros movie studio is planning to produce an anime feature film set in popular The Lord of the Rings (J.R.R. Tolkien) books, as per the officials announced on Thursday.

The Warner Bros movie studio is planning to produce an anime feature film set in popular The Lord of the Rings (J.R.R. Tolkien) books, as per the officials announced on Thursday.

The animated movie ‘The War of the Rohirrim’ is the story of a legendary encounter that shaped Middle-Earth in the years which led to events in The Lord of the Rings (2001), according to a statement from the studio. It will discover the fort of Helm's Deep and feature the King of Rohan, ‘Helm Hammerhand’.

The new file will be directed by Anime filmmaker ‘Kenji Kamiyama’ and no date of release is set so far.

‘The Lord of the Rings’ live-action film trio of movies is distributed by Warner Bros starting in 2001 along with ‘The Hobbit’ trilogy starting in 2012.

 The six films have earned almost $6 billion at box offices across the world. At present, Warner Bros is owned by AT&T Inc,s but its merging is ongoing with Discovery Inc.

Amazon.com Inc (founded in 1994 by Jeff Bezos) is working on a Lord of the Rings television series, currently being picturized in New Zealand.
