Dubai has opened the world's deepest swimming pool for underwater diving ‘Deep Dive Dubai’, which allows people to descend 60 metres (197 ft) to a submerged city-themed landscape and play arcade games.

Dubai is a tourism and business hub with desert territory and scorching summer temperatures, and attracts many tourists across the world for colourful and record-breaking attractions like its large water parks, snow-filled indoor ski slope, and the world's tallest building ‘Burj Khalifa’.
The pool has been confirmed by Guinness World Records as the world's deepest swimming pool for diving and is equivalent to six Olympic swimming pools. According to Deep Dive Dubai, it is 15 metres deeper as compared to others.
Shaped like an oyster as per the UAE's pearl diving heritage, is also the region's largest underwater film studio, according to the company.
Divers go underwater by passing through a landscape of a sunken city, with sound and lighting facilities. The two air-filled dry rooms are also there on the way down.

Divers can enjoy scuba diving with a tank of air as well as freediving where they simply hold their breath.
