Owner of Pakistan Premier league’s franchise Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi hinted at fans being able to purchase shares of the franchise on Monday.

PSL is an annual T20 tournament between the six franchises. Peshawar Zalmi won the PSL tournament in 2017 and is one of the most popular franchises with Mahira Khan, Hania Amir, and even Ertugrul star, Turkish actress Esra Bilgiç as brand ambassadors.

The franchise is a global household brand now and is no doubt the most famous PSL franchise.

The good news was announced by Javed Afridi himself when he wrote on Twitter that, “Zalmi passion is what drives us daily. We are exploring different avenues to see how our fans/members can have contractual ownership or stock listing of Zalmi like various Football Clubs?”

This made Zalmi’s fan very excited amongst the sadness of Zalmi not making it into the finals of this year’s PSL.

However, Afridi ended the sentence with a question mark, which means that there is no final decision made yet, that if they will choose to do Initial Public Offering at PSX or Contracts.
