Pakistan’s Passport Crawls Up Six Spots In The Passport Index

Pakistan’s passport crawls up six ranks higher than the previous rank in the prestigious Individual Passport Power Ranking (IPPR) 2020. This index uses the world’s leading real-time passport ranking tool. It has recently ranked Pakistan’s passport at 192 which was previously at 198.

Pakistan has jumped six places higher in the Passport Index which is good news for many Pakistanis.

IPPR ranks the passports by compiling the Mobility Score (MS), the number of countries one can visit without a visa, or a visa on arrival can be obtained, and United Nations Development Program’s Human Development Index (UNDP HDI). The higher the Mobility Score is, the better the IPPR ranking.

The Mobilty Score is 33 and can travel to seven countries visa-free. Visa on arrival can be obtained in 26 countries.

However, Pakistan still needs improvement since it is in the bottom 10 countries.
