Sindh Educational Institutions For Classes 9 And Above To Reopen From Tomorrow
Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani announced on Sunday (today) that schools and educational institutions, for grades IX and above, will reopen from tomorrow (Monday).

"The decision has been taken by the Sindh Corona Task Force to reopen educational institutions of Sindh for class 9th and above from 7th June(tomorrow) with the implementation of strict SOPs and all staff must be get vaccinated," he wrote on Twitter.
Previously, the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) had instructed to keep all Sindh’s educational institutions closed till June 7.
Earlier today, the minister stated that schools in the province will remain closed until further announcement from the provincial government. The steering committee will conduct a meeting regarding the matter within the next few days.
"Schools will remain closed not till June 7 but till further orders," he had said.
According to the minister, the steering committee will also finalize the examination schedule.
But, on Thursday, Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Pechuho stated that the Sindh government will not reopen schools until the confirmation that coronavirus cases are on the decline.
"Schools will remain closed until we are convinced that the numbers of coronavirus cases are decreasing and won't increase again," she elaborated.

As per Pechuho, despite the government’s efforts, people are still hesitant to get themselves vaccinated.
