Electric Bikes In Punjab As a Cheap Alternative

Motorbikes assemblers in Sahiwal are now manufacturing electric motorbikes in the country so that the middle class can afford them. Since the fuel charges are very high, switching to electric energy for vehicles is the need of the time.

These motorbikes are not different than regular motorbikes. They run on battery rather than petrol. More so, the body parts are equipped in the same patterns as of Japanese technology.

Usman Sheikh, the CEO of Auj technology is going to take advantage of gasoline-based motors while developing an electric battery system locally. They have designed and assembled battery management  systems (BMSs), motors, chargers, and battery packs.

Separate electric kits are also being sold for the regular bikes. They are easy to install in the bikes since they have been made keeping the design of regular gasoline bikes in mind. They will cost a lot less than petrol.

The Jaguar electric bike has a range of up to 70km and needs 5 hours charging at home and office. The price of the motorbike is Rs 88,000 for now making it a budget-friendly motorbike. The CEO is still trying to bring the price down.

A number of concerned queries are still to be answered which include the exact figure of the electricity being consumed, the distance it would carry, the lasting time of the battery and the cost of alternation in case of any damage.
