Schools Across Pakistan Should Be Reopened & Give Financial Relief Package
A council for private schools has forced the government and said schools across Pakistan should be reopened and facilitate them with a financial relief package
Demanding a financial relief package for the education sector, a council for private schools has forced the government to revive the educational institutions on January 11 as per plan.
On Thursday, while talking at a press conference in Islamabad, the council disapproved of the decision made by the government to close educational institutions. “We did follow all of the SOPs related to coronavirus. However, schools had to keep close and on the other hand, hotels and markets have been allowed to remain open.”

He further stated that more or less 80% of schools over the country did not have access to the internet. “Thousands of institutions have closed their gateways and many others are following suit.”
The council asked the government to provide a financial relief package for the education sector. “They should waive off the registration fee and taxes for at least a year.”
