WhatsApp Will Not Be working On Old iPhones & Android Phones
In 2021, WhatsApp a messaging application owned by Facebook will not be working on some old and out-dated Android and iOS smartphones.
According to the news report, it is being said that the most popular messaging app WhatsApp will stop working on phones that are not compatible with iOS 9 or Android 4.0.3 operating systems.
Here you can find out which operating system is running on your phone, go to Settings > General > Information, there you will find information about the software version on your iPhone.
Similarly, if you are an Android user can go to Settings > About Phone to see which Android version your smartphone is running on.
The support page of Whatsapp has already suggested their users always use the latest version of their OS.
By considering the models of the iPhones, those who are using the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6S will require to update their operating system to at least iOS 9 or following in order to continue using WhatsApp.
