The government of Pakistan has decided to eliminate all the posts which remained vacant for last one year. This has been decided to reduce the expenditure.
There have been different posts from grades 1 to 16 that have been unoccupied for last one year and are under the administrative control of the federal government. They will soon be eliminated from the system according to various sources.
Federal Ministry has been directed by the implementation committee to abolish all such vacant positions.

On June 7,PM Imran Khan has directed the provincial government to eliminate any extra expenditure they can as the federal government is also doing so.
“Special attention should be paid to the development of the industrial and agriculture sector and the projects under public-private partnership should be facilitated,” said Imran Khan regarding the budget of Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa and Punjab.
